Colorful

Trying my hand at a poem with colors. Not quite sure how it works because I am biased. ^_^

Love/Live/Lost

Red, the color of our first date.
Orange, the color of his tie.
Yellow, the color of the flowers he brought late.
Green, the color of his eyes.
Blue, the color of our dinner plates.
Indigo, the color of the evening sky.
Violet, the color of our first kiss.

Red, the color of our love.
Orange, the color of the orange juice we shared.
Yellow, the color of the life we speak of.
Green, the color of the feelings that we bared.
Blue, the color of the sky above.
Indigo, the color of the life we dared.
Violet, the color of our kisses.

Red, the color of my eyes weeping.
Orange, the color of his handkerchief I kept.
Yellow, the color of my tea, steeping.
Green, the color of the jealousy I wept.
Blue, the color of his wayward creeping.
Indigo, the color when I finally accept.
Violet, the color of all our lost kisses.
